From Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, the iconic red Rick Dias piloted by Quattro Bajeena joins the HG lineup in an updated version featuring redesigned armor parts, enhanced articulation, and refined details based on the classic HGUC kit.

This renewed release incorporates extensive new exterior parts across the mobile suit, including the head, shoulders, arms, waist, and legs, resulting in a design that more closely reflects the original animation and reference materials. The head has been redesigned with sharper proportions, while the shoulder, arm, and leg armor feature newly sculpted details that enhance the mechanical appearance. Additional improvements to the upper arm and thigh construction further increase the level of surface detail throughout the kit.

The Rick Dias has also been upgraded with a revised joint structure that follows modern HG standards. Newly designed elbow, hip, and knee joints provide significantly improved articulation, allowing for a much wider range of movement and more natural posing. Double-jointed knees, enhanced elbow mobility, and updated roll-type hip joints work together to recreate the dynamic action scenes seen throughout Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam.
