To commemorate the 15th anniversary of the TV anime Digimon Cross Wars, first aired in 2010, this special edition joins the Digital Monster COLOR series.

[Highlights]

■ Like previous Digital Monster COLOR releases, this edition is equipped with a color LCD screen, a rechargeable battery that charges via the included USB Type-C cable, and changeable background designs to customize the experience.

■ It also carries over key support features from the series, including a Cold Mode that pauses growth to prevent stat loss, a backup system that lets you save one Digimon currently in training, and the ability to engage in online battles with both this model and earlier COLOR series devices. 

■ Two body colors are available: Cross Heart Color and Blue Flare Color. Each is printed using UV printing technology, with Shoutmon X4 covering the Cross Heart model and MetalGreymon (2010 anime version) covering the Blue Flare model, giving both versions a bold, powerful look.
Both versions feature identical programs and gameplay.

This release recreates the unique training mechanics of Digimon Cross Wars.

■ Event Battles: Win battles against anime Digimon to recruit 13 characters, including Ballistamon, Dorulumon, Starmon, Greymon (2010 ver.), and Mailbirdramon.
■ DigiCrossing: Combine recruited Digimon with Shoutmon to form powerful evolutions, such as Shoutmon X3GM, Shoutmon X3SD, and Shoutmon X4S—with new illustrations debuting in the Digimon Encyclopedia (scheduled for February 2026).
■ Training & Evolution: A total of 28 Digimon are available for training/DigiCrossing (11 of which can be trained directly). Defeating MetalGreymon (2010 ver.) in an event battle unlocks a Digi-Egg for raising the Blue Flare Army.
■ World Battles: Face numerous enemy Digimon from the anime. By conquering all stages, players encounter powerful bosses—defeat them with specific Digimon to unlock further evolutions.
