To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime Digimon Adventure 02, we are releasing the D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-, an updated version of the 2000 release "D-3" with added features, including a color LCD.

The product will come in three color variations. The standalone version, D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- Daisuke Motomiya Color / Ken Ichijouji Color, is based on the original toy released in June 2000 but with added glitter molding for enhanced details, giving it a more luxurious finish.

The design of the body has been newly engineered based on the shape of the 2000 version, incorporating a color LCD screen, a rechargeable battery, and a vibration motor, all without compromising the original size. The addition of the color LCD allows not only the characters but also the backgrounds to be in full color, offering immersive and dynamic backdrops that vary by area. During the adventure, not only Digimon but also the "Chosen Children" will appear, including "Taichi and his friends as middle school students," "Digimon Kaiser," "Arukenimon," "Mummymon," and "Yukio Oikawa."

The rechargeable battery inside the unit allows you to charge the device using the included USB Type-C cable. To charge, a USB port on a computer or similar device is required.

This product allows the player to select a partner Digimon and become a "Chosen Child," adventuring through the vast Digital World and the real world to relive the story of Digimon Adventure 02. The iconic digital gate sequences from the anime are also featured.

During the adventure, Target ~ Red Shock ~ (TV Size) will play as the background music, and you can also hear new voice recordings for the partner Digimons via button inputs. The game features over 120 Digimon, including the partner Digimon, and story-driven boss Digimons. The battle mechanics include "Repeated Press," "Shake," and "Press Specific Button," determining the battle method. The evolution scenes feature anime-style visuals, along with music for each evolution, and vibrations from the built-in motor, providing exciting evolution animations like "Armor Evolution," "Jogress Evolution," and "Mode Change."

You can also collect Digimental Search Points through training, which leads to the Digimental Search screen, allowing you to find fragments of Digimentals needed for "Armor Evolution."

In addition to the adventure mode, the product features a play mode where you can listen to the music and voices from the game. The recorded voices include over 250 words, including new voice recordings from the original cast of the Chosen Children and their partner Digimons, except for Hiroaki Hirata’s new recording.

The "Picnic Screen" allows you to interact with the partner Digimons by having meals or sitting by a campfire, offering various cute scenes. A collection feature allows you to check the Digimons that joined you during the adventure.

The product also supports communication functions. It can connect for communication battles with other D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- devices and with the previously released Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-, Digital Monster COLOR, and Digimon Pendulum COLOR series.
