Movie Masterpiece: The Dark Knight Trilogy: Joker 1/6 (DX Bank Robber Ver.) [Hot Toys]

Japanese Original Edition, Hot Toys Movie Masterpiece Figure

Hot Toys' prestigious DX (Deluxe) series—its top-tier collectible line—welcomes a powerful new addition from Christopher Nolan’s legendary The Dark Knight Trilogy: the Joker (Bank Robber Ver.), inspired by the unforgettable opening scene of The Dark Knight.

In a Gotham City gripped by organized crime, Batman joins forces with Detective Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent to strangle the mafia’s funding sources. But their crusade is violently disrupted by the arrival of the Joker—a chaotic, unpredictable villain who robs a bank holding mob money and declares war on Batman, plunging the city into fear and disorder.

Standing approximately 30 cm tall with over 30 points of articulation, this 1/6 scale figure delivers an eerily lifelike representation of Heath Ledger’s Joker. It comes with two newly crafted heads: one featuring his masked appearance during the heist, and another without the clown mask, both equipped with Hot Toys’ signature rolling eyeball feature to adjust the gaze. Every detail is hand-painted—from his smeared white face paint and scarred smile to the realistic skin texture and trademark messy green curls.

His outfit is intricately tailored and screen-accurate, including the gray jacket and pants, patterned blue shirt, polka-dot socks, and brown shoes. The set is armed to the teeth with a fully automatic pistol, shotgun, grenades, and a smoke grenade. His duffel bag, which can be slung over his shoulder, includes internal storage racks to carry the weapons—just like in the film. Additional accessories include a clown mask, playing cards, a bundle of bills, a wristwatch, and a wide range of interchangeable gloved hands to recreate iconic scenes.

The diorama-style base recreates the bank setting with fine detail, including a breakable glass panel and a school bus backboard to complete the illusion of the getaway crash. With a design grounded in realism and reverence, this version of the Joker isn’t just a collectible—it’s a tribute to one of cinema’s most chilling performances.

A masterpiece of both performance and toy design, this DX Joker (Bank Robber Ver.) is a must-have centerpiece for any serious Dark Knight or Hot Toys collection.
