Based on the popular Kaga Yuzen collaboration illustration, Mikasa is reimagined in the dignified style of a classic Japanese doll. Turning with graceful poise and holding her umbrella, she radiates refined charm—capturing the essence of the traditional "Mikaeri Bijin" (beauty glancing over her shoulder). Her flowing hair, intricate hair ornaments, and serene expression are sculpted with breathtaking detail.

The kimono features a redesigned pattern derived from an actual Kaga Yuzen garment created for the original collab, complete with finely rendered musical instruments and sheet music motifs. Seamless pattern alignment, digital printing, and support from Kyoto’s Nishimura Shoji Shoten ensure this costume's exceptional authenticity.

Renowned doll artisan Akisaki Yamazaki oversaw the clothing prototype, carefully translating the illustration into lifelike fabric movement and volume. The obi was crafted using Nishijin brocade from Kyoto’s Mori-san and finished with a traditional “reverse-use” technique for added realism.

This premium figure also carries the seal of Yoshitoku, a historic maker of traditional Japanese dolls.
