The History of Demon Slayer

Set in a Taishō period Japan, Tanjirō is the eldest son of a family of charcoal merchants whose father has died. To help his family, he leaves to trade in the city to support them. Despite the rigors of daily life, he manages to find some joy in it.

One day, he is unable to return home because of rumors of a man-eating demon (Oni) that prowls around after dark, and he spends the night at the home of a Good Samaritan in town. From here, the adventure begins!
